Mani's baths are much slurpier than Merlin's. Merlin's baths are much slower because he has a tendency to get tangled in his floof.

I asked for a comic that mentioned the word "miao", for obvious reasons. This was the delightful result. It will soon grace my wall alongside my other (3) comics, which are all leaf themed.
Merlin's 12th birthday was on Tuesday.

He practically lunged for the can as soon as I opened it. After about 1/4 of a can, he decided it was enough. We gave him a special Purina formula that the vet said is especially appealing to cats. When he was chewing, I noticed an occasional grinding noise. I'm not sure if it's his teeth or his jaw... he noticed it too because he stopped eating and listened before taking another mouthful.
When I brought him back from the vet earlier today (after more sub-Q fluids), he had a little playtime with his turbo toy before taking a nap.

It is well known that the Miao House has a mouse problem. I made a (humane) mouse trap out of a shoebox and Prince Tantra decided to act as bait. I hadn't planned to photograph it, otherwise I would have written the sign bolder. In fact, I should write the sign bolder anyway so that mousies can read it from afar.
