Lotuses of the World: Episode 1: Northeast China
*purrs* Since I'm a lotus it's my batcat duty to share the lotuses of the world with you. Lotuses will make you happy and serene, especially if they're narcotic Nile lotuses. I'm not a Nile lotus but I can have that effect on people too. *purrs*
These pictures are of Chinese lotuses, not Nile Lotuses. They're from big brother Ping's hometown in China. They grow in South Lake Park in Changchun. It's called South Lake bcause it's in the southern part of the city and it's a medium-sized small lake. South Lake Park and is a really popular location to go strolling and rowing. They're renovating the park, so people have to stroll over torn up concrete and under construction cranes. There's a lot of greenish grey water in the lake and water grass in the water but not too much garbage. Apparently it's safe to swim in because a lot of guys swim in it.
little miao only took three pictures of lotuses at the park.
This is a relief of lotuses in the same park. Little Miao took these picture during the summer. She would have taken better pictures except she tripped up the stairs and then again on her way down so she was kind of flustered. If I had been there, I would not have laughed. *teehee*

Do they let the women and children swim too?
There's a public pool in the city but she didn't go cause she doesn't like public public pools. there are also public bath houses. she wouldn't be caught dead in one, she says. next time i'll have her go and photograph all the nekkid people. for the sake of academics, because learning is important to Batcats too.
Such pretty flowers! I'm sure the batcat would overcome any challenge, hehe!
