1. Ramses is named after Ramses II, Pharaoh of Egypt. 2. Ramses' favorite food is chicken, and he asks for it every couple hours. 3. Ramses is a California boy by birth.
1. Is absolutely true. 2. Could be true, but I know one of my kitties isn't a fan of chicken, so I say false. 3. Is true, if 2 is false, three must be true.
#2 is indeed false. You're right on, Sara - Ram's favorite food is indeed tuna. :)
It was hard for me to come up with a false one. I thought of saying, Ramses is named after Ramses V, Pharaoh of Egypt (aka Ramses 5), but changing the number seemed too lame. Papa Miao named him after Ramses II, who was the most prolific producer of monuments (some people say it's quantity and not quality, but Papa Miao disagrees and has a soft spot for Ramses II).
Now, I'll make the same question for each of the Other Brothers.
Lately he's taken to Turkey and a mixture called Turducken!
Yes, I have a soft spot for Ramesses II. That's an excellent photo of a side panel of the throne of one of the R II colossi at Abu Simbel with a beautiful writing of his name "King of Upper and Lower Egypt Usermaatre-Setepenre, and the heraldic plants of Upper and Lower Egypt being tied together by two so-called "Nile Gods" or "Fecundity Figures." The amazing Omm Sety, a famous Englishwoman who moved to Egypt when she was young, and who strongly believed that she had lived in ancient Egypt, said that R II was "a nice boy." She's the only person I know of who made that kind of claim (about living in ancient Egypt, not about R II's niceness) and yet was loved and doted on by the world Egyptological community. And very deservedly so, in my opinion.
