Each little curve of floof, eyelid, and whisker is so purrfectly angled.  I wish I were small enough to crawl between the layers of Ping floof and take a nice warm nap.

Snuggly Ping

In the summertime (when this was taken), the Miao Brothers still nap together.  They avoid too much floof-warmth but still get the benefits of communal catnaps.

Each Miao Brothers has collected many nicknames over the years, and each nickname expresses something special about his personality, likes and dislikes, and appearance.  As humble chronicler, I have been remiss in compiling comprehensive lists of these nicknames.  To remedy this, I've decided to post the nicknames when they come to my mind.

Since this is Lotus's birfday week, I should begin with one of his.

Oat Groat

n. Wholesome goodness that becomes floofy and warm when processed (i.e., wrapped in blue blankie and snuggled).  synonym: loat groat.

Example: "How about a cuddle, my little oat groat?"

Freshly washed laundry makes the purrfect nap spot, in Prince Tantra's not-so-humble opinion.  No one would dare to put away the laundry while it is serving this higher purpose.  However, one might snuggle up to His Highness, praise his beauty, and humbly beseech his permission to join him in his nap.
