On Tuesday afternoon, I tore myself away from my busy schedule (*snicker*) for a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood.  My wanderings led me right to a fragrant lilac bush, its light purple flowers reminiscent of Lotus's lilac points.  I had been lamenting the fact that I hadn't encountered any lilacs in bloom around town, and by the time I got back to Wisconsin, the lilacs would probably be done blooming.  So naturally I was overjoyed to stumble into this lilac bush just a few blocks from my house, with its blooms low enough for me to inhale conveniently.  Unfortunately, the wind wasn't cooperating with me, and I could hardly get the branches to stay still for a proper picture.
