The Miao-ku was written by Lurkertype in Ramses' memory.  I'm touched to have such a kind and caring vox neighborhood.  Thank you all for sharing your heartfelt and heartwarming words on the passing of Ramses, the eldest Miao Brother.

Remember the spot on Ping's foot I noticed a while ago?  Lurkertype mentioned that marmie cats tend to get spots like this as they get older - and indeed, I noticed another one.

I'm not sure if this Mer-ku should qualify as a food-ku.  Somehow it doesn't feel right... but whatever.  Merlin is as cute as a cupcake.

The Miao Brothers singly and jointly disapprove of my smoothie.  I don't understand why - I guess there's just no accounting for taste, or lack thereof.

Is it

bananas, berries
mixed with pomegranate juice
nectar in a glass

or is it

a glass of pink sludge
chilly, acrid, hurts my nose
get it away now

At first Merlin treated the smoothie with suspicion-laced curiosity, but after it followed him halfway across the kitchen floor, he became offended.

King Ping refuses to grace the smoothie with so much as a glance.
Kemi considers eating the smoothie as a last measure to stave off starvation, since his crunchie dishes are woefully empty.
