Show us a picture of where you used to be.
This is the dorm I lived in during my last year at college. I don't miss dorm life at all, but I do sort of miss the idyllic, self-contained little world that I had then. My window is 2nd from the left on the first floor (which is actually the 2nd row of windows). You can identify it by the colorful plants in the window. Back then, I had quite a collection of red geraniums, as well as a couple begonias, an African violet, and a danity little ivy plant. These days I don't have any houseplants because there would be no one to care for them in the summer when I'm doing field research.

Now that spring is approaching, please remember to chlorophyll safely. I received an email with a subject line to this effect in my university account. It's reassuring to know that this important message was not blocked by our state of the art spam filters.
