Siamese snuggles are a well known remedy for bruises.

(Turn the volume on and you can hear three distinct noises that Tashi makes, including soft purrs near the end).

Kemi is a beautiful black cat with white ear tufts.  He has short little legs, a long neck, and a very rotund middle.  He is as soft, plush, and cuddly as a teddy bear.  His has beautiful golden eyes that glow in the dark like jack o' lanterns.  He is something of a scardey cat when guests visit, but he is very affectionate with the Miao family.

His favorite activities include purring for little miao, substituting for her pillow at night, purring for Mama and Papa Miao, grooming his brothers great and small, and crunching on his kitty crunchies all day long.  When he is not so occupied, he enjoys curling up with a brother or stretching out by himself.  His favorite phrase is: "arrrrlll," a sweet little trill that he makes to express affection.

When the right season comes, he helps the Miao family gather blueberries and hunt for honeycomb.
