I rediscovered this while organizing my Miao Photo Archives with Picasa. I still have a lot of organizing left to do, and a lot more photos to rediscover in the process.

Every morning for the past week and a half, Ping, Tashi, and Lotus have appeared on my bed about five minutes after I've gotten up. Ping at the head (naturally), then Lotus in the middle, and Tashi at the foot. If I don't act immediately, I lose my chance to make my bed that day (aw shucks). This morning I went downstairs for a cup of tea before I made my bed, and guess who was there when I got back? I wouldn't even think of moving them - such cruelty!

Ping naps are a joy to watch, and they can be interactive too!

Eeeek! No wonder poor Baby Lotus can't sleep after little miao read him that bedtime story. Sounds like an R-rated vampire horror movie to me, not fit for Baby Miao's gentle lotus-blossom ears.

Liszt: The Complete Symphonic Poems for Two Pianos (Box Set)

Hamlet (Folger Shakespeare Library)

Professor Tashi reminds us that it is plagarism, that most reprehensible of crimes, if we do not cite our sources. The above quotation is from Hamlet, Act 3 Scene II, by William Shakespeare, a playwright of some merit. Tashi recommends the Folgers edition for its accessible and informative notes as well as its affordability. Alternatively, you could read it online.

For a musical interpretation of Hamlet, check out Franz Liszt's symphonic poem of the same title. Tantra doesn't particularly appreciate the music, because it disturbs his beauty rest. Tashi thinks it is overwritten fluff, without any of the subtlety of Shakespeare, but little miao kind of likes it...
