Tender Lotus Ears for Breakfast

Mani starts off each morning with a scrumptious bite of lotus-ear.

Lotus Ears for Breakfast

Observe our manly Mani to the left, with his little bigfoot brother Lotus sitting next to him. They both await the serving of Brekkies, which Papa Miao is preparing offstage. Mani the Hearty Trencherman is famished and must have a bite of tender lotus-ear while he is waiting for Papa Miao. Who could resist the fluffiness of the Lotus? One bite, gnawm, gnawm, gnawm. Little Lotus mewls pitifully once, then twice. Mani contemplates a second bite. Lotus stands his ground. The curtain falls and breakfast is served.

Two Goats Demonstrate Earbiting

Mani repeats this ritual nearly every morning, even though Papa and Mama Miao try to discourage him. Chomp chomp chomp, I wonder how long before he gobbles up both of the Bat-ears?

Chronicler's Note: Yay! for the improved video quality. However, it's basically cancelled out by the poor lighting of the Miao Kitchen. My loyal but uninspired camera has no sound recording, but you can imagine Lotus's pitiful mews. Thanks to Cute Overload and photographer Tanja A. for the goat ear-chompage.
